What we process
The website has no accounts, contact form, advertising technology, analytics, non-essential cookies, or third-party embeds. It does not ask for sensitive personal data.
If you email HNICS, we receive the information you choose to send, normally your email address, message, attachments, and ordinary email metadata. Please do not send passwords, financial details, identity documents, health information, or other sensitive data unless we specifically request it through an appropriate secure channel.
The hosting provider may create routine security and delivery logs, such as IP address, browser type, requested page, referring page, and request time. The selected host, processing locations, and log-retention settings must be recorded before launch.
Why we process it
Email enquiries are processed to respond, keep an appropriate record of the conversation, take requested steps before a possible agreement, and protect the website and business from misuse. Depending on the enquiry, the lawful basis is steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligation, or a documented legitimate interest that does not override your rights.
Routine server logs are processed only for website delivery, fault diagnosis, security, and abuse prevention. We do not use them to advertise to you or build behavioural profiles.
Sharing and transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data may be handled by the providers that host the website or business email, professional advisers who are bound by confidentiality, or authorities where disclosure is required by law. Provider access must be limited to what is necessary for the service.
If a provider processes data outside Nigeria, HNICS must confirm and document an appropriate transfer basis and safeguards before launch.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful general enquiries should be deleted no later than 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Records connected with a contract, dispute, fraud prevention, or legal obligation may be retained longer where necessary. Hosting logs should use the shortest practical retention period supported by the selected provider.
Your choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about your data, access it, correct it, ask for deletion or restriction, object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent where consent is used, and challenge solely automated decisions. This website makes no automated decisions about visitors.
Contact HNICS using the business email above. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Children and security
This corporate website is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information from them. We use data minimisation, access controls, HTTPS at deployment, and appropriate provider settings, but no internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Changes
We will update this notice before introducing a form, analytics, marketing technology, accounts, purchases, or materially different data practices. The effective date above will change when the notice changes.
